How we integrated HeyReach with Trigify and Clay to reach people who were looking for a solution similar to ours.
The beauty of this workflow is that it's very straightforward and simple to set up. Anyone can do it, literally! :)
In terms of results, we were getting a positive response for every 3.5 leads we've contacted. Here's the full report for you to check out.
Note: You can see that we got a few additional replies and leads than when the video was recorded.
The hottest leads you could go for with this campaign would be your existing audience. For example, your website visitors, first-degree connections, past customers, your frequent webinar attendees, or people who regularly engage on your content.
We found success in this campaign by targeting leads already in the market for a solution similar to ours. The most valuable approach is to focus on people who are:
These leads are more likely to be interested in our offering, as they're actively seeking solutions in our domain.
This is where a tool like Trigify proved invaluable. We used their Social Signal feature to segment people who had interacted with the last 20 or so LinkedIn posts from an influencer in this space. In this example, we used Max MItcham's LinkedIn profile and got 1000+ lead list.
As Trigify has a direct integration with Clay, we export the entire list there.
This allows us to see the type of post users interacted with, whether they liked or commented, their full company data, job titles, and more. We then run a DNC check to see if their company is on our "do not contact" list.
Next, we assess whether their company would benefit from using HeyReach—essentially qualifying them. We do this by running a prompt through ChatGPT that contains details about HeyReach, our offerings, and our target audience. ChatGPT then provides a percentage score indicating whether it's worthwhile to reach out to this company. You can steal this template here.
The last thing we do is to run the last GPT prompt to clean their first name, last name, and job title so we eliminate any typos and mistakes.
Last but not least, we push this lead list to our HeyReach campaign. This allows us to send connection requests and messages automatically. Here's how the campaign looks like.
The first step is to send a connection request. We leave this request empty—without adding any personalized note.
After that, we view their profile. Only then do we send the first message.
Hey {FIRST_NAME}, I saw you {interaction_type} Max Mitcham’s post.
I’m curious—if you had Trigify’s intent-based signals, how would you use them in your LinkedIn outreach campaigns?
The 'Interaction type' variable is replaced by 'liked' or 'commented' through the Trigify and Clay workflow, as demonstrated in the video.
Our main goal is to maintain a human and conversational tone. If there's no response, we follow up with another message that reads:
I was asking because they added a native integration with HeyReach for LinkedIn outreach.
We launched a campaign and got 101 leads in 7 days from 496 people contacted.
Can I send you step-by-step how we did it?
You can see how the remaining part of the campaign looks like.
Finally, if they don't respond to the second message, we simply like one of their recent posts and move on to the next lead. Why? We don't want to spam people.
